At Highland Hills Elementary, our Mission is to become a destination school.  We do this with the following vision:

Establishing clear and progressive expectations for parents, students and staff

Setting high expectations for academic and personal growth for staff and students

Teacher team meetings and communication across grade levels

Supporting family involvement in school activities and parents/teachers working together

Staff work to achieve balance in academic programs. High expectations are established for learning and teaching. Instruction is clearly focused on the standards and on improving student achievement. Research based instructional methods and strategies are utilized. Student achievement is monitored through diagnostic assessment and data obtained is analyzed and utilized for modifying instruction and setting goals.
