Superintendent of Schools Dr. Tricia Mooney is announcing administrative changes, effective July 1.
Highland Hills Elementary Principal Jake Bacon will move to the district office as the Director of Human Resources. Bacon will be replacing Assistant Superintendent-Human Resources David Marshall who has been named the new superintendent for the Brookings-Harbor School District.
Sunset Elementary Dean of Students Becky Bacon is also being promoted and will step in as the new principal for Highland Hills Elementary.
“The district has made it a priority to invest in our staff and leaders, and at this time we are fortunate to be able to promote from within,” said Dr. Tricia Mooney. “Our administrators will have the opportunity to apply the leadership skills they have gained over the years and I am confident that they will contribute to the success of the district.
El Distrito anuncia cambios administrativos para el año escolar 2020-21
La Superintendente de las Escuelas la Dra. Tricia Mooney está anunciando los cambios administrativos, que serán efectivos el 1 de julio.
El director de la Primaria Highland Hills Jake Bacon se trasladará a la oficina del distrito como el Director de Recursos Humanos. Bacon reemplazará al Asistente de la Superintendente en Recursos Humanos David Marshall, quien ha sido nombrado el nuevo superintendente para el Distrito Escolar de Brookings-Harbor.
Se está promoviendo a la rectora de la Primaria Sunset Becky Bacon y se convertirá en la nueva directora de la Primaria Highland Hills.
“El distrito ha hecho una prioridad invertir en nuestro personal y líderes, y en este momento somos afortunados de poder promover de adentro,” comentó la Dra. Tricia Mooney. “Nuestros administradores tendrán la oportunidad de aplicar las habilidades de liderazgo que han obtenido a través de los años y tengo la confianza que ellos contribuirán al éxito del distrito.”
